Admission Process

Admissions at the college are executed through the centralized, state-level framework to ensure complete transparency. The process is broadly categorized into two structural streams:

• Centralized Admission Process (CAP): The vast majority of seats are allocated via online CAP rounds administered by the State CET Cell. Aspiring students must complete online registration on the official portal (mahacet.org). Candidates enter personal details, upload academic parameters, and lock in their choice preferences for SNJB Nashik (specifying branches such as Computer Engineering, AI & Data Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering).

• Document Verification: Following registration, candidates must physically or virtually report to designated Facilitation Centres (FC) or Scrutiny Centers (SC) to verify original certificates against their online applications.

• Seat Allocation and Reporting: Once seat allocation rounds are published, successful candidates download their allotment memo, fulfill online seat acceptance protocols, and report to the campus in Chandwad. At the college, they complete departmental file verifications (utilizing internal green application forms), settle academic fees, and undergo orientation.

• Institutional and Minority Quota: As a religious minority institution, specific seat matrices (CAP_MI) are preserved for eligible applicants. A relaxed score of 40% (equivalent to 119/120 out of 300) applies to backward class categories, EWS, and PwD candidates belonging exclusively to Maharashtra State.

  • Entrance Metric: Applicants must hold a valid, non-zero positive scorecard in either the MHT-CET 2026 (PCM group) or JEE Main 2026 examinations.

• Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry): Requires a completed, DTE-approved Diploma in Engineering and Technology with an aggregate of at least 45% for General category individuals, or 40% for reserved categories of Maharashtra State.

• Master of Business Administration (MBA): Candidates must hold a recognized three-year Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum score of 50% aggregate marks (45% for state-recognized reserved categories). Additionally, a valid non-zero score in entrance exams such as MAH-MBA-CET 2026, CAT 2026, CMAT 2026, XAT 2026, MAT 2026, or ATMA 2026 is required.

Application Fees & Academic Costs

Onboarding and processing transactions are completed online via the state entrance portals, while annual tuition fees are managed at the institute’s accounts department:

• State Centralized CAP Registration Fee: INR 800 for General and Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) candidates; INR 600 for Maharashtra State reserved categories (SC, ST, VJ/NT, SBC, OBC, EWS) and PwD profiles.
