Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU), Mumbai, Maharashtra – Scholarships

SVU is dedicated to providing financial aid for their students who are worthy, and hard-working in pursuing their higher education from Degree to Diploma programmes.

However, there are certain categories for scholarships that need to be fulfilled by the candidates in SVU.

Scholarship 1:

(Merit-cum Need to be based)

This scholarship is provided to those students who are financially underprivileged but have been able to maintain good academic records. Following is the list of the scholarships under this category:

• Meenakshi Rajana Memorial Scholarship
• Bharti Nanji Gala Memorial Scholarship
• Nirmala Raychand Savla Memorial Scholarship

Scholarship 2:

(Need to be Based)

This scholarship is provided to the students by SVU and is based on “demonstrated financial aid”. SVU takes a deeper look at the financial condition of the student’s family to provide the level of support needed. Following is the list of the scholarships under this category:

• Sakarbai K Somaiya Memorial Scholarship
• Mayadevi S Somaiya Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship:

• Minimum 60% in every educational records
• Family income is lower than INR 3 LPA
• Should be a student of Somaiya Vidya Vihar or Ayurvihar.
