The admission and application process for the flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) at the S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) is unique because it emphasizes profile-based selection alongside entrance exam scores.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Final-year undergraduate students may also apply.

  • Work Experience: Work experience is not mandatory. Both fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of work experience are eligible to apply.

  • Accepted Entrance Exams: SPJIMR accepts scores from CAT and GMAT (tests taken between the specified multi-year window).

Application Process

  • Online Registration: Candidates must apply online through the official SPJIMR admissions portal (pgdmadmissions.spjimr.org).

  • Specialization Selection: Unlike most business schools, SPJIMR requires applicants to select their preferred specializations (Finance, Marketing, Operations, or Information Management) at the application stage.

  • Application Fee: The application processing fee for Indian applicants is INR 2,500.

  • Applying Before Scores are Declared: Candidates can (and typically must) submit their applications before CAT/GMAT results are officially declared. The portal allows candidates to update their scorecard details later in the cycle.
