Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital is a constituent college of the Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER). It offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and postdoctoral programs in medical sciences. The college is known for its excellent teaching facilities and super-specialty services. Admission Process

Undergraduate (MBBS) Admission Process

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB). They must also be at least 17 years old.
• Entrance Exam: Admission to the MBBS program is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) score.

Application Process:

• Candidates must apply for NEET UG through the official website (neet.nta.nic.in).
• Fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee.

Counselling and Seat Allotment: After qualifying NEET UG, candidates must participate in the Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu. This involves seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment to confirm admission.

Postgraduate (MD/MS) Admission Process:

• Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree with at least 50% aggregate from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Entrance Exam: Admission to MD/MS programs is based on the NEET PG score.

Application Process:

• Candidates must apply for NEET PG through the official NTA website.
• Participate in the counseling process overseen by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
• Counselling and Seat Allotment: After qualifying NEET PG, candidates must participate in the Tamil Nadu NEET PG Counselling. This involves seat allotment, document verification, and fee payment to confirm admission.

Documents Required for Admission:

• Marks sheet of HSC/CBSE/ICSE/Other (10th, 11th & 12th)
• Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied
• Conduct Certificate from the institution last studied
• Proof of date of birth / Birth Certificate
• Community Certificate
• Migration Certificate (if necessary)
• 2 passport size photographs
• Aadhaar card (photocopy) / any other Government issued ID card.

Application Modes: Candidates can apply both online and offline. For offline applications, forms can be downloaded from the SBMCH website or obtained from the college office and submitted along with the required documents and fees.
