Admission Categories

Seats at SVCE are divided into two primary categories:

  • Convener Quota (70% of seats): These seats are filled through state-level entrance exams based on merit and the centralized counseling process.

  • Management Quota (30% of seats): These seats are filled directly by the college management based on academic merit (typically 10+2 marks for B.Tech) in compliance with APSCHE guidelines.

Entrance Examinations

To secure a seat under the Convener Quota, you must qualify for the respective state-level entrance tests:

  • B.Tech: AP EAPCET (formerly EAMCET).

  • M.Tech: GATE or AP PGECET.

  • MBA / MCA: AP ICET.

  • B.Tech Lateral Entry: AP ECET (for diploma holders/B.Sc. graduates).

Application Process

  1. Entrance Exam Registration: Register and appear for the relevant entrance exam (e.g., AP EAPCET for B.Tech) via the official state government portals.

  2. Centralized Counseling: After the exam results are declared, participate in the web-based counseling process conducted by APSCHE. You will need to fill in your college preferences, where you can select "Sree Venkateswara College of Engineering, Tirupati."

  3. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on your rank, category, and availability. Once allotted, you must download the allotment order.
