Srinath University Application/Admission Process

SRINATH UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS

Admissions at Srinath University, Jamshedpur are open for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programs. The process is online and offline, merit-based for most courses, with some programs requiring entrance exams or interviews

Admission Process

Online Mode

  • Complete the online application at www.srinathuniversity.ac.in, and pay Rs. 500 for undergraduate and graduate degrees and Rs. 1500 for doctoral degrees.
  • Download the completed application and come to the university campus or our admissions office as soon as possible.
  • Pay the first installment of fees using a demand draft or by swiping any kind of card at the point-of-sale system after your documents have been validated by the university admission official.

Offline Mode

  • Pay the application fee and pick up the prospectus and application form in person at the admission office. Address: Majhitola, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand 831013; Phone: 1800-3455-5555.
  • Send in the completed form along with the first installment of your fees via demand draft, online payment, or any kind of card.

Documents Required

Mandatory Documents (All Courses)

  • 10th Marksheet & Certificate
  • 12th Marksheet & Certificate (for UG admissions)
  • Graduation Marksheet & Degree Certificate (for PG admissions)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from last institution
  • Migration Certificate (if changing boards/universities)
  • Character Certificate issued by previous institution
  • Passport-size Photographs (4–6 copies)
  • Government-issued ID Proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID, etc.)

Category & Reservation Documents

  • Caste/Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS, if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate (for state quota benefits)

Courses

Eligibility Criteria

B.A English

Candidates should have completed class 12th or equivalent from any recognized educational board and candidates should have attained a minimum aggregate score of 50% of marks in class 12th with English as one of the main subjects

M.A

Students should clear their Bachelor’s degree i.e they should have their Bachelor’s degree from a recognised college/University.

B.Com

The basic B.Com. course eligibility is to have at least 50% in class 12th from any recognized board 5% relaxation in ST/SC, OBC.

BFA

All candidates who have cleared Standard XII in any stream from a recognised Board meet Bachelor of Fine Arts eligibility criteria. Although there is usually no other set criteria except that candidate need to secure 50% or more marks in Class  XII.

BCA

Candidate must have passed class 12th or senior secondary examination with at least 50% marks including English.

The 12th examination must be passed/ Appearing with mathematics as a compulsory subject.

The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum age varies between 22-25 years.

MCA

You need to have a bachelor’s degree in computer application.

You need to have more than 50% of your bachelors degree.

You need to have more than 55% in your 12th standard.

M.Com

Candidates are required to have for general category minimum 50 % marks and ST, SC category 45% at bachelor’s degree level.

Diploma in fine arts

Candidates who have completed their 10+2 education from a recognized board or equivalent are eligible to apply for a Diploma in Fine Arts..

BBA

Minimum Marks Required: 50% from a recognised university.

MBA

You must have completed your graduation of 3 years from a recognized board.You must have scored a minimum of 50% or equivalent CGPA in your graduation. For reserved categories, a relaxation of 5% is provided.

DNYS

To pursue a diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy, you must complete the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 40% marks

Diploma in Pharmacy

10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology

B.Pharm

Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized institution. They must have majored in  Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or Biology  in high school.

B.Sc

The basic B.Sc. course eligibility is to have at least 50% in Class XII from any recognized board. 5% relaxation in ST SC OBC

M.Sc

The students must complete his/her graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% score. However, students having a B.Sc./B.Tech./B.E. degrees are preferred.

D.El.Ed

Candidate should have done their 10+2 with an aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized board. The minimum age criteria is 18 years.

B.Ed

The minimum qualification required for admission into a Bachelor of Education [B.Ed.] course is a Bachelor of Arts [BA], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] or Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] from recognized board/ minimum aggregate score for General & OBC 50% & 45% for SC & ST in graduation is a requisite for admission. A minimum aggregate score of 55% at the post-graduate level is mandatory for admission.

Research Courses

Post graduation degree in relevant subject with minimum aggregate of 55% marks required.
