Shri Vithal Education & Research Institute (SVERI) is a charitable trust established by a group of experienced technocrats in the year 1995, with the motto of promoting professional education. At present, SVERI has focused its activities in rural area and as on today it has following four professional colleges under its umbrella providing education to around 4000 students(~2000 girl students) in its Gopalpur Campus: College of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, College of Engineering (Polytechnic), College of Pharmacy (Poly.), Pandharpur. Institute has shown an academic excellence in diploma and undergraduate courses. Institute has Post-Graduate and Ph.D. programs in Engineering and Pharmacy. Along with professional academic activities, SVERI is actively involved in Science and Technology (S&T) based rural development. As a part of the same, Institute has set up in campus Rural Human and Resource Development Facility-RHRDF, sponsored by RGSTC, Government of Maharashtra, with the technical guidance of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre – BARC, Mumbai under the MoU signed with BARC on Sept 15, 2011.
