Swarnandhra College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), Narasapur – Application/Admission Process

1. B. Tech:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed their Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Admission is primarily based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) scores.

Application Process:

• Candidates must register for AP EAPCET and secure a rank within the college's cut-off range.
• After the results are announced, candidates can apply through the official SCET website or during the counseling sessions organized by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.

Cut-off: The college publishes its cut-off ranks annually, which vary by course. For instance, the cut-off for B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering for 2024 ranges from 50,327 to 82,257.

2. M. Tech, MCA, MBA:

Eligibility Criteria:

• For M. Tech: Candidates must hold a relevant undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks and qualify for GATE or  AP PGECET.
• For MCA: A bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks is required, along with a valid score in APICET.
• For MBA: Similar to MCA, candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks and must qualify through APICET.

Application Process:

• Interested candidates can apply online through the SCET website or during the respective entrance exam registration periods.
• Application forms can be downloaded from the official site, with an application fee of INR 500 payable upon submission.

3. Diploma Programs:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed their 10th grade.
• Admission is based on scores from the AP POLYCET exam.

Application Process: Applications are accepted online following the announcement of AP POLYCET results.
