Recognitions & Ranking

• Teerthanker Mahaveer University has been approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) and has powers to award degrees u/s 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956.

• Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a Jain Minority State Private University established by Act No. 30 to 2008 of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

• The University has the necessary approvals of all the regulatory bodies governing different programmes like –the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, & U.P State medical faculty.

• Additionally, TMU has recognition from Indian Nursing Council, PCI, BCI, National Council for Teachers Education & SCERT, Lucknow, AICTE & ICAR.

• In terms of MBA rankings, TMU, Uttarpradesh comes in at position 109^th. By NIRF 2022 and India Today 2021, it was ranked 97^th and 125^th  for B.Tech, respectively.
