With Lofty ideas and Noble thoughts,Texcity Medical and Educational Trust (TMET) was formed in Coimbatore in 1992 under the dynamic leadership of Mr.A.M.M.Khaleel as Managing Trustee and Haji P.V. Hassan as Joint Managing Trustee with a group of Muslim Academicians, Doctors and Philanthropist of the Textile City. The aim of our trust was to impart quality education for the benefit of Muslim community and other under privileged persons. From then on, the trust has been working tirelessly towards the upliftment of the society.
The trust felt that yeoman services should be rendered to the health needs of the society and so with a modest beginning, Texcity College of Paramedical Sciences came into existence in 1993, offering Diploma courses in Nursing, Pharmacy, Radiological Assistant and Medical Laboratory Technician.As a second milestone, in 1998, Texcity Arts and science College was started with a mission to set education accessible to all irrespective of their financial status. Subsequently, the trust established Texcity College of Nursing in 2006, offering undergraduate programme in B.Sc(Nursing) & in 2015, started postgraduate programme in M.Sc(Nursing).Today we are proud to say that our Alumni are spread across the world, working in reputed Hospitals & many being Successful Entrepreneurs.
