Thiagarajar College of Engineering – Placement

A placement cell at TCE Madurai provides students with placement opportunities in businesses across a range of industries. Students can receive training from TCE Madurai Placement Cell to help them become ready for the placement process. The placement cell uses interviews and practice exams to evaluate the students. Candidates receive individual comments and are made aware of their areas for improvement. In order to equip students with the skills needed in the industry, TCE Madurai Placement Cell also offers internships. They send out invitations to different companies to handle the placement procedure, following which they pick the candidates, and those chosen must start working for the company by the given date.

The 2023 Thiagarajar College of Engineering placement report has not been made public. The Thiagarajar College of Engineering "Engineering NIRF report 2023" states that the median package offered during the college's B. Tech and M.Tech placements in 2022 was INR 5.50 LPA and INR 6.33 LPA, respectively. Additionally, the placement rates for the B.Tech and M.Tech programs at Thiagarajar College of Engineering in 2022 were 78% and 91%, respectively.
