he college is a joint venture of the Church of South India, Karnataka Central Diocese, Bangalore and Karnataka Christian Educational Society, Mangalore. The management has the distinction of managing various other Educational Institutions of repute. The college was established in the year 1985 to cater to the needs of the economically and socially deprived sections of the society in and around Tumkur.  The primary purpose of the college has been to equip and facilitate the students to adapt and compete in the changing society.  The college has been sincerely striving to bring out innate potentialities of students by providing them ample opportunities in Academic and also in Non-academic activities.
