Vaniniketan Vidya Samithi was established in the year 1968 by Sri. CH.AYODHYA RAMA RAO Garu after resigning his job from Assembly services with a concept to serve the society and to make karimnagar a strong educationalhub with his contribution to the educational sector. Recently  Vaniniketan VidyaSamithi have celebrated the Golden Jubilee.

Soon Vaniniketan VidyaSamithi is going to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.Vaniniketan Degree & PG College Established in 1994 and this year we are going to celebrate Silver Jubilee.

For the past 5 decades the college produced several Intellectuals, leaders,Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, Educationalists & Politicians. We proudly say that our Former Hon’ble irrigation minister Sri. T. Harish Rao Garu Our MLA Sri. G. Kamalakar Garu & Satavahana University Asst. Registrar Kishore Garu were the students of Vaniniketan School.The college offers qualitative instruction in 12 U.G programmes in MathematicalScience , Biological Science, Social Science and Commerce, and also 3 PGProgrammes in Maths, Chemistry and Commerce. The college has well deserved70 members team of Lecturers from various departments who have been strivinghard to improve the standard of the students to excel in the Academic and extracurricular activities. College has all sorts of strength to implement any type ofnew curriculum in academics as such CBCS curriculum which was recentlyintroduced by SU , successfully.To give good practical experience to the students and to have excellent academicstandards the college is well equipped with science and computer Labs viz. Botany , Zoology , Chemistry , Physics , Electronics and computers. Further not least to say about Library which is equipped with latest CBCS books and servingthe students. In addition college has spacious and ventilated class rooms forclass work instruction with dual desks for UG & PG programmes.Meritorious Scholarships are being awarded to students whose performance isextraordinary / excellent.Field Trips are organized for the students of Bio Science and other students also whose curriculum demands.To encourage rural students to pursue UG & PG Programmes the college isproviding Transport facilities to the students atconcessional rates from variousparts of the undivided karimnagar District. With this facility around 1800students are pursuing UG & PG programme in the college.

According to the trends and growing competition the college is affiliated toTASK to enrich the students and make them to compete for jobs in corporatesector. Training programmes are conducted to shape up their career and to achieve their goals. We proudly say two of our students (1) Mr. Varna Prashanth
Reddy, (2) Mr. Bandi Bhoopathi, (3)Vaidya Swathi have secured jobs in prestigious infosys company. Mr M.Ajay, Md Zufia have Secured Jobs in TCS.To bring social awareness among the students the college has N.S.S Unit. Every year 100 disciplined students were selected and recruited for the unit to conductone day camps and special camps. Two of our NSS volunteers Mr. Raj Kumar of BZC II year and Mr. P. Susheel Kumar B.Com III year have participated in State level Trecking &Adventure camps. Every year our NSS unit is serving the society with the caption “ Not me but you”.Apart from academics the college is motivating the enthusiastic students to participate in University Games and Sports. This time we came out with extra ordinary results.Our college is the winner of Volley Ball Tournament of Satavahana University in the year 2017. Students participated in Hand Ball, Kabaddi and Hockey and also represented Satavahana University from the college. Every student was supported to excel in Sports and Games by sanctioning funds and sports gear.To maintain culture and tradition of Telangana the college is organizing Bathukamma Sambaralu and Rangoli at the time of festivals, In which, huge number. of students participated and made it successful.
