Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE), Hyderabad – Scholarships

Vasavi College of Engineering offers several scholarships and financial aid opportunities to its students. The scholarships include those provided by the college management, state social welfare programs, and national merit scholarships. Financial assistance is also available to economically disadvantaged students based on merit.

Following is the types of Scholarships and Financial Assistance that are offered to the students at VCE.

  • College Management Scholarship:Needy students can receive scholarships directly from the college management.
  • State Social Welfare Scholarships:Students can apply for scholarships through state social welfare programs.
  • National Merit Scholarships: The college facilitates national merit scholarships for eligible students.

Financial Assistance for Economically Disadvantaged Students: Merit-based financial aid is provided to students with economic needs. Eligible students must agree to repay the assistance in equal installments over two years after securing employment. The repaid amount is then reinvested into a financial assistance fund for future students.

Department Financial Assistance Committee:

The "Department Financial Assistance Committee" identifies needy students. This committee includes the respective Heads of Departments (HODs), one senior faculty member, and two students from each branch.

  • Tata Capital Pankh Scholarship Programme 2025
  • Richard A. Freund International Scholarship 2025 

This scholarship is for Masters and PhD degrees in quality control, quality assurance, quality improvement, total quality management, or similar quality emphasis. It is open to international applicants.

Other Funding Options: Education Loans Education loans up to INR 50 lakhs are available for up to 10 years, potentially without collateral.
