Velammal College of Engineering and Technology – Application /Admission Process

Velammal College of Engineering and Technology (VCET), located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering. The admission process is structured to ensure that candidates are selected based on merit through recognized entrance examinations.

TNEA application:

• On the website's main page, candidates must select the "register" tab.
• They must fill out the personal information and academic qualification credentials after completing the registration process successfully.
• After making the payment, submit the application.
• Together with the physical copy of the completed form, affix the self-attested copies of the following documents:
• Class 10th mark sheet
• Class 12th mark sheet
• Transfer certificate issued by school
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Nativity certificate
• Relevant certificates for the children of Ex-servicemen/ freedom fighters.
• Create a printout of the form and mail it to the address below:

TNEA, Anna University, Chennai 600025, Secretary

Applications will be deemed void if they are not sent to the aforementioned address.

Regarding TANCET applications:

• Applicants must register using a working phone number, email address, and password.
• Enter your ID and password to log in, then complete the required fields.
• Upload scanned copies of your signature and passport-sized photo.
• Proceed to use Net Banking or Debit/Credit Cards to make the payment.
• Candidates in the general category must pay an application fee of INR 500, while those in the reserved category must pay INR 250.
