Vishwakarma Institute of Technology – Scholarship

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) provides scholarships to its students through various sources. Some available scholarships are:

  • Scholarship by Merit Cum Means:

VIT Pune students who qualify for this scholarship will receive a 500 INR pocket allowance in addition to a complete reimbursement of tuition fees. Scholarships are given to students who maintain a 7.5 CGPA through this merit-based program. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must provide proof of their parents' income. Candidates for this scholarship must have parents with incomes under 2.5 lakhs.

  • Punjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance:

Students from VIT Pune who are living in the hostels are given an annual allowance of INR 10,000 to help with their living expenses. The award is open to students from the socioeconomically disadvantaged groups in society. In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must provide proof of residency and income. The candidates for this scholarship should have parents making less than one lakh rupees.

  • Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Yojana:

Students from minority communities at VIT Pune are eligible for a yearly scholarship worth INR 25,000 towards their tuition fees under this program. Students that received at least 50% in their prior exam are eligible for this grant. Students must submit a minority declaration certificate and bank account information in order to be eligible for the scholarship. The candidates for this scholarship must have parents with incomes under six lakhs.
