Vivekananda Degree & P.G. College is a premier institution started by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Educational Society in the year 1993 with high ideals of imparting qualitative education to the aspirations of the people of North Telangana. A strong foundation of high educational values was laid by the foresighted and well known educationist, Dr. V. Kondal Rao. From a humble beginning with limited enrolment facilities, it has now emerged as one of the leading institutions in this area. It is catering to the educational needs of thousands of students in Science, Commerce and Management both at undergraduate and Post-graduate levels.

The college has its own building with good infrastructure having spacious class rooms, seminar hall, well furnished libraries, reading room and well equipped laboratories. This institution intends all round development of the students under the guidance of committed faculty.
