Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) has been recognized by UGC (University Grant Commission). It is accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation), and is also approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), and MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development).
XISS has received several rankings and recognitions for its MBA program. According to the rankings from various agencies, XISS Ranchi's MBA program is ranked 79th out of 272 colleges in India by India Today in 2023.
It was also ranked 56th out of 179 colleges by The Week, 76th out of 100 colleges by NIRF, 36th out of 200 colleges by Outlook, and 56th out of 120 colleges by IIRF.
