Yenepoya Nursing College, a brainchild of the Islamic Academy of Education trust (IAE) was established in 2002 and affiliated to Rajeev Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. In 2009, it came under the ambit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).

Yenepoya Nursing College is a constituent college of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). It is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi and Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC), Bengaluru. Currently college offers General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM), Basic B.Sc (N), Post Basic B.Sc(N), M.Sc (N) programmes and Ph.D in Nursing under the Faculty of Nursing , Yenepoya (Deemed to be University).
