Yogoda Satsanga Mahavidyalaya (YSM), minority institution recognized under Article 30 (1) Sections 2(f) and 12 (B) of the UGC Act, situated in the capital city of Ranchi, Jharkhand. Since its inception in 1967 under the aegis of the Yogoda Satsanga Society (YSS), a renowned global spiritual and charitable organization, founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji (the author of the world-renowned spiritual classic, Autobiography of a Yogi). The college strives to uphold the educational ideals of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, a visionary spiritual leader. The college has been dedicated to providing higher education opportunities to underprivileged communities, with a special emphasis on reaching out to tribal populations.. The aim is to shape the young learners into invaluable national assets who will contribute positively to society. The institution has been striving to fittingly and fully satisfy the higher educational aspirations of the less privileged sections of the sub-urban and rural belt (especially the tribal communities) of Ranchi since its inception.
