APSET 2024 Eligibility

1. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s Degree or equivalent examinations from universities/institutions recognized by UGC are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes(OBC) belonging to the non-creamy layer/Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/ persons with disability(PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
2. Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for qualifying the test only after they have passed their Master’s Degree examination OR equivalent with at least 55% marks(50% marks in case of OBC(Non-creamy layer)/SC/ST/PWD(persons with disability) category candidates. Such candidates must complete their P.G degree examination within one year from the date of SET result with the required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
3. The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991(irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e. from 55% to 50%) for appearing in SET.
4. Candidates are advised to appear in the subject of their post-graduation only. The candidates, whose post-graduation subject is not covered in the list of subjects may appear in a related subject.
5. Candidates having a post-graduate diploma/certificate awarded by an Indian University/ Institute or a foreign degree/diploma/certificate awarded by a foreign University/institute should in their own interest, ascertain the equivalence of their diploma/degree/certificate with a Master’s degree of recognized Indian universities from Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi.
6. There is no upper age limit for applying for eligibility for Assistant Professor

APSET 2024 Exam Pattern

• Paper-I shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test the reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective-type questions. Each question will carry 2 marks.
• Paper II shall consist of 100 objective-type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks.
• The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper - II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.

APSET 2024 Admit Cards

Steps to Download APSET Admit cards:

• Visit the official website @ apset.net.in
• Search the admit card link on the homepage & Open it.
• Fill in the required details with correct data such as e-Mail ID & Password
• Click on submit button.
• APSET Exam Admit Card will appear on the screen. 

APSET 2024 Exam Result

Download the APSET Merit List we are providing some simple steps you may follow it:

• Click the results tab on the home page.
• Enter the required details on the login page.
• Press on the “Submit” button. 

APSET 2024 Counselling

The counseling will be held only for the candidates who qualified for the APSET 2024. A merit list will be prepared and a call letter will be sent to them. Candidates who received the call letter only will be able to participate in the counseling procedure. APSET 2024 counseling process includes document verification and seat allotment. Candidates who are going to participate in the counseling procedure must carry the original certificates with at least two sets of photocopies.

APSET 2024 Certificate Verification

Candidates who are qualified in the AP SET 2024 exam will be called for certificate verification. The top 6% of Meritorious candidates are eligible for the assistant professor posts. AP SET 2024 Certificate verification date and venue will be informed to the qualified candidates. Usually, AP SET Certificate verification will be held in the University Zonal headquarters.

1. SSC or equivalent certificate as the date of birth proof
2. PG pass certificate either provisional degree or original degree
3. PG marks statement of all semesters
4. Case certificate by AP govt, if applicable
