The Chattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET 2021) was conducted by the Chattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) in the offline mode. Applicants can pay the application fee through bank Challan submitted to any branch of SBI or through online net banking in ICICI or SBI bank.
The application fee is Rs. 200/- for General category, Rs. 150/- for OBC and for SC/ST/PH fee is Rs. 100/-.
Candidates seeking admission to various undergraduate engineering courses through CG PET 2021 have to fulfill the eligibility requirements laid down by the conducting authority. Candidates can check CG PET eligibility criteria related to age requirement, domicile and academic qualification below:
Age Requirement- Candidates must be minimum 17 years of age as on December 31, 2021. The upper age limit for unreserved candidates is 30 years while for OBC, SC/ST, female and PWD candidates it is 33 years.
Domicile- As per the eligibility criteria of CG PET 2021, candidates who are a resident of Chhattisgarh can apply for the entrance exam.
Academic qualification- Aspirants must have cleared class 12 or equivalent examination in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry with minimum 45% (40% for reserved category).
The exam pattern of CG PET provide details related to the overall structure of the entrance test. Candidates studying for the entrance exam must be familiar with CG PET exam pattern which include subjects, duration, number of questions, total marks etc.

The syllabus of CG PET 2021 is prescribed by CGEB for the entrance examination. CG PET syllabus consist topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that candidates need to study. Questions in the entrance examination will be based on CG PET syllabus 2021. Students appearing in CG PET 2021 must cover all the topics prescribed in the syllabus to score better marks in the examination.
The admit card of CG PET will be issued to candidates in the May 2021. Candidates whose applications are accepted can download CG PET 2021 admit card with their registration number. CG PET admit card will bear the examination schedule, exam venue, exam day guidelines and personal details of the candidates. If any discrepancy is found in the admit card of CG PET 2021 candidates must immediately contact the authority concerned for rectification. CG PET admit card must be kept safely until the admission procedure gets over.
The result of CG PET 2021 will be announced in the first week of June. CPEB will release CG PET answer key in the online mode for all candidates who have appeared in the entrance test. To check and download the result candidates have to enter their CG PET 2021 roll number on the login window. The CG PET result will the subject wise as well as overall score obtained in the entrance exam, CG PET rank and qualifying status of the candidates.
The counselling of CG PET 2021 will be done online in three rounds on the basis of the merit list which will be prepared by the CPEB. CG PET counselling is likely to start from the first week of June onwards. CG PET counselling will be conducted separately for admission through JEE Main 2021 and the pre-engineering entrance examination. Candidates qualified for admission have to register online, fill in their choices, report to centres for document verification.
