Joint Admission Counselling Delhi offers Admission to BE/B.Tech/B.Arch courses for the present academic year in 4 (four) spearheading and most searched out Technical Universities/Institutes viz. Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT). JAC Delhi 2021 will lead the confirmation procedure through Common Counselling. Admission to the taking an interest Universities/Institution will be founded on the All India Rank arranged by CBSE giving 40% weight age (reasonably standardized) to class XII (or identical other qualifying examination) imprints and 60% to the execution in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main) Examination. The registration or application form of JAC Delhi 2021 will open tentatively in the of May 2021. Candidates will have to get registered before the start of JAC Delhi counselling 2021; no registration will be allowed during counselling rounds, except Spot Round. To participate in Spot round, new registration is allowed, but with a participation fee of Rs. 10000 in addition to application fee.
To successfully fill the JAC Delhi 2021 application form, the candidate needs to go through multiple steps like registration, payment of a non-refundable registration cum counselling fee, and upload of images.
To be able to access the JAC Delhi 2021 application form, the candidate will have to first pay the applicable fee of Rs. 1400 (excluding bank charges).

Upon payment of the registration-cum-counselling fee, the candidate will next have to fill the JAC Delhi 2021 application form. To fill the application form, the candidate must click on the “New Registration” link.
The candidates next have to enter the following details to access the JAC Delhi 2021 application form:
Using the user ID and chosen password, the candidate must log-in to fill choices. It is advisable the candidate fills as many choices as possible in the order of preference. Depending on the eligibility of the candidate, available seat information will be displayed, which the candidate can use to decide on the best options. While filling choices, the candidate will also be able to see the fee structure and branches of each participating institute.
Once the registration period is over, choices will automatically get locked. The candidate must take a printout of the filled choices after choice filling ends for a particular round.
Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at the participating institutes need to meet the JAC Delhi 2021 eligibility criteria mandated by the concerned authorities. Eligibility criteria of JAC Delhi 2021 that candidate needs to fulfill include that of qualifying exam, qualifying marks, and age limit.
The candidate must have passed 10+2 conducted by CBSE Delhi or any equivalent exam, including Indian School Certificate Examination.
Payment of Counselling Fee
To begin with, aspirants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs. 1400/- (excluding bank charge). The fee can be paid online as well as offline modes. Check details here.
After the successful payment of the counselling fee, aspirants will have to visit the JAC Delhi registration portal and navigate to the New Registration link. To access the online registration form, aspirants will have to enter their Roll number of JEE Main, Date of Birth, Nationality and Result status of Class 10+2. Besides entering these details, candidates will also have to other basic details and upload their photo (not more than 40 KB) and signature (20 KB) in JPEG format.
Log-in to JAC Account
Upon logging in to your JAC account, aspirants will be able to see their registration details and available choices and filled in choices.
Under Registration details, aspirants will be able to edit/make corrections/update the information entered on the system.
Under Available Choices, aspirants will be able to see information related to institute and branch-wise availability of seats. Here, all the choices filled by candidates will also be displayed.
Choice Filling
Aspirants who have successfully paid the registration-cum-counselling fee will have to fill in the choices of branch and institutes. They would be required to select from the options available basis their eligibility.
The options need to be entered in order of their preference. Aspirants are advised to enter the maximum number of choices to be able to have a better chance at admission. Before filling the choices, aspirants should check the fee structure and available branches of every institute.
Choice Locking & Printing of Locked Choices
At this step, the choices entered by aspirants will be locked automatically once the registration date is over. Aspirants will be required to take a printout of the filled choices after the closing of choice filling for the specific round of counselling.
Seat allotment for BE/BTech seats will begin once the online choice filling round concludes. The seat allotment will be based on JEE Main All India Merit Rank in Paper besides other parameters.
Seat allotment for BArch seats will be based on the merit acquired by candidates in JEE Main Paper II besides other parameters. The order of preference entered by aspirants will be taken into consideration.
To be considered for admission, the candidate needs to have qualified JEE Main 2021. However, depending on whether the candidate wants to pursue B.E. / B.Tech programme or B.Arch, the requirement may vary as to which paper the candidate needs to appear.
The seat allotment of JAC Delhi 2021 will commence after the choice filling period ends. Eligible candidates will be considered for JAC Delhi 2021 seat allotment, apart from other parameters, based on their All India Merit Rank in JEE Main 2021. For admission to B.E./B.Tech courses, merit in JEE Main 2021 Paper 1 will be considered, while for B.Arch course, merit in Paper II will be taken into account. JAC Delhi 2021 seat allotment will be conducted in six rounds, but if there are vacant seats left, an Spot round will be conducted.
The result of JAC Delhi 2021 seat allotment would be announced by the admission committee after the end of each round of counselling, as per the counselling schedule. To check JAC Delhi result 2021, the candidate may log into his/her account. If seat has been allotted, a provisional seat allotment letter would be sent to the candidate, which the candidate must download and get a printout of. The allotment of seats is purely provisional and is subject to verification of documents and payment of the applicable admission fee. To log-in, the candidates have to use their JEE Main Roll Number and password chosen at the time of registration.
The cutoff of JAC Delhi 2021 would be prepared institute-wise and would be determined based on the choices entered by the candidate, apart from the JEE Main 2021 All India Rank of the candidate. The JAC Delhi 2021 cutoff may vary from one branch to another and also across institutes, depending on multiple factors like the number of sanctioned seats, applications received for admission, and cutoff trends of previous years.
There are four participating institutes of JAC Delhi that offer admission to B.E /B.Tech and B.Arch courses. Of the four institutes, only IGDTUW offers B.Arch courses and that too to only female candidates. DTU and IIIT-D, both offer B.Tech courses. The last of the four JAC Delhi 2021 participating institutes, NSIT offers B.E programmes.
