The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MBSTE) is a body synonymous with technical diploma education in the state of Maharashtra. Apart from granting affiliations to various programs of study this state body designs and develops curricula for diploma, post-diploma, and advanced diploma programs. This state functionary also conducts the MSBTE exam twice in a given academic year (summer and winter sessions) for various diploma courses. These need and skilled-based diploma courses of study are offered by polytechnics and other organizations in the state.

Although the MSBTE is yet to announce the official dates for result declaration, the past pattern indicates that the MSBTE Diploma Examination Results will be declared in the month of May/June.
