NEET PG 2024: Exam Date, Registration, Syllabus, Admit Card

A nationwide entrance exam is the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test-PG (NEET-PG). For admission to different MD, MS, PG, Post-MBBS DNB, and NBEMS diploma programs, the eligibility-cum ranking exam is known as NEET PG. Online access is available for candidates to view the NEET PG 2024 exam schedule. It will be possible to access the entire schedule online. The first week of January 2024 is when candidates can complete the NEET PG 2024 application.

Until the fourth week of January 2024, the application form may be completed. For the purpose of avoiding rush, candidates must complete the registration form by the deadline. Before the application form is submitted, the application must be corrected.

The exam is scheduled for March 3, 2024. You can download the NEET PG 2024 admit card starting in the fourth week of February 2024.

Candidates can check their results on the website a few days following the written exam. The second week of March 2024 is when the NEET PG 2024 results can be checked. The scorecard will be made public during the fourth week of March in 2024.

The counseling authority will administer the NEET PG 2024 counseling to the eligible applicants. The counseling process will begin in the fourth week of July 2024

NEET PG 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check the following NEET PG Eligibility norms before applying for the exam:

General Eligibility-

  • Qualification (MD, MS, or PG Diploma): A qualified MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS pass certificate from an institution accredited by the Medical Council of India (MCI) is required in order to be eligible for NEET PG 2024.
  • Attempt Limit: NBE has not set a cap on the total amount of NEET PG attempts that are allowed. Applicants may take the test as often as necessary in order to get admitted to the specified course.
  • Internship: The only candidates who can take the exam the following year are those who will have finished the one-year required rotator internship by August 2024 at the latest.
  • Registration Certificate: A valid registration certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI), the National Medical Council (NMC), or any State Medical Council (SMC) is also required. 

Foreign Medical Graduates:

  • Nationality: Eligible candidates shall be Indian citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
  • Internship: All foreign medical graduates must finish their internship by August 11, 2024, at the latest, in order to be eligible.
  • FMGE Pass Certificate: In order to sit for the NEET PG, candidates who finished their primary medical education outside of India must first pass the FMGE, or Foreign Medical Graduate Examination.
  • Registration Certificate: After receiving the FMGE Pass Certificate, all foreign medical graduates are required to register with the MCI/SMC. To verify their eligibility, these candidates must provide a copy of their registration certificate. 

NEET PG 2024 Application Process

NEET PG 2024 Application Form will be released in the first week of January 2024. National Board of examination releases the application form for NEET PG 2024

  • Visit the website of NEET PG- nbe.edu.in
  • To create a User ID and Password, create an online profile.
  • Now go to the application link and log in with the assigned User ID and Password.
  • Provide the required information on the application form.
  • Upload the signed and scanned photo files in the appropriate format.
  • Pay the registration fee online through a variety of methods.
  • After rechecking the filled-out information, submit the application.
  • Take a hard copy of the filled application form for further procedure.

NEET PG 2024 Admit card

In February 2024, the NEET PG 2024 admit card will be issued. By entering their candidate ID and password, candidates can download their admit card online.   Candidates who are disqualified prior to the exam will not be issued a hall ticket.

To download the NEET PG 2024 admit card, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website of the National Board of Examinations (NBE) at nbe.edu.in
  • Click on the "NEET PG" tab from the menu.
  • Login using your user ID and password in the "Applicant Login" section.
  • Click on the "Download Admit Card" link.
  • Check the admit card for any errors or spelling mistakes.
  • Download and save the admit card.

NEET PG 2024 Syllabus

The Medical Council of India (MCI) prepares and releases the NEET PG 2024 syllabus. The subject-wise question weightage is published by the authorities along with the syllabus. The NEET PG syllabus includes all of the subjects covered in the 4.5-year MBBS program in addition to a year of internship training. The Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical, and Clinical subjects covered in the NEET PG 2024 Syllabus are taught during the MBBS program.

NEET PG 2024 Cut Off

Online access will be available for the NEET PG 2024 cutoff criteria. The minimum score required to engage in the counseling process will be known as the cut off.

NEET PG cut off for general criteria will be 50%, for SC/ST/OBC/reserved PWD candidates it will be 40%, and for UR-PWD category it will be 45%. These numbers correspond to the previous criteria. 

NEET PG  2024 Result

Online access to the NEET PG 2024 Result will be available to candidates. During the, it will be made available.  Result will be published in the form of score card. One will have to use their login credentials to get their result.

The current admission session is the only one for which the NEET PG Result 2024 will be valid. Carrying over the results for the following academic session is prohibited by authority.
