TS LPCET (Lateral Entry into Polytechnic Common Entrance Test)

TS LPCET- Lateral Entry into Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Hyderabad for the qualified ITI candidates who are seeking admission into 2nd Year Diploma Courses offered in Government, Government-Aided, Private Un-Aided Polytechnics and 2nd Shift Polytechnics run in existing Private Un-Aided Engineering Colleges in Telangana State.

 

 

Rank will be allotted for the candidate who appeared for LPCET, candidates can opt to study Diploma Courses offered in Polytechnics of SBTET. 

No separate application form for admission is prescribed for Candidate desirous of seeking admission in to Engineering Diploma courses offered by Polytechnics, the filled-in application for LPCET-2021 itself will be treated as application for admission in to courses offered in Polytechnics.

 Eligibility Criteria to appear for LPCET -2021

  • Candidates who have passed ITI course( 2 Years) having 60% marks along with Bridge Course conduct by the Department of Employment and Training (DET) are eligible.

HOW TO APPLY for TS LPCET-2021:

a) Candidates have to download the application from the website, fill the application and submit the same along with requisite Fee in the form of DD (drawn SECRETARY, SBTET, TS, Hyderabad) to The Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

b) The fee structure is Rs.500/- for OC and Rs.300/- for SC/ST in the form of Demand Draft drawn secretary.

d) The Examination center is Govt. Polytechnic, MasabTank, Hyderabad.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

a) The pattern of Question Paper is Objective type.

b) The Student has to secure Minimum Qualifying marks in Paper is 40%

c) The question paper of 120 questions each with a choice of 4 responses for each question with only one correct response among them.

d) Ranks will be generated for each candidate through LPCET-2021 for Admissions into Polytechnics.

Syllabus for LPCET-2021

The detailed Syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of (C 18 I & II Semester) will be available along with Notification in www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in

Important Instructions to the Candidates:

a) Hall Ticket issued to you in an important document. Please preserve it carefully till the admissions.

b) Candidate shall arrive at the examination hall at least 1 hour before commencement of the examination File No.SBTET-EE-2/GEN/1/2020-PRE1

c) Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 11:00AM once the examination commenced.

d) Candidates are directed to carry the following to the examination hall: I. Good Ball Point Pen (Black) II. Writing Pad III. HB Pencil IV. An Eraser V. Sharpner

e) Candidate should not bring log books, tables, calculators, tabs, cell phones, communicable / programmable electronics gadgets etc. into examination hall.

f) Candidates must remain seated in their allotted seats till the completion of the examination. In no case candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall till 01:00 PM. Before leaving, candidates must return OMR response sheet to the invigilator.

g) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions given for the marking answers and other entries on the OMR response sheet thoroughly.

h) The OMR response sheet should be handled carefully and the candidates are advised to not to fold or wrinkle or tear the OMR sheet under any circumstances. Candidates are advised not scribe or make any marks on the response sheet expect marking answer other relevant data at appropriate places. Candidate shall note they will not be given under any circumstances a second OMR Sheet.

i) Candidate shall mark the correct answer in the OMR Response sheet by shading in the dark the appropriate circle with HB pencil. They should not use ball pen for this purpose under any circumstances.

j) Candidate should not suffer from any of the following defects: a) Mentally retarded b) Blindness c) Deaf and Dumb d) Chronic Heart, Lung, Kidney, Liver Diseases e) Muscular Dystrophy and if found the candidate forfeit chance to appear examination.
