The Telangana State Common Post-Graduate Entrance Test (TG CPGET) 2025 is conducted by Osmania University, on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TG CHE).  TG CPGET 2025 is the gateway for admissions into Master’s Degrees in Arts/Humanities, Commerce, Science, PG Diploma Courses, and 5-year Integrated Programmes.  The participating Universities for TG CPGET 2025 are Osmania University, Kakatiya University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Palamuru University, Satavahana University and JNTU etc., In all, about 264 Government/Private Colleges offer admissions to students in various postgraduate programmes in Telangana State, based on TG CP GET 2025 scores.

TG CPGET 2025 Important Dates:

TG CPGET 2025 Eligibility

1. Candidates should have passed the Qualifying Examination with not less than 40% marks or equivalent CGPA. A pass in the Qualifying Examination is sufficient for SC/ST candidates.
2. The candidates passing the examination compartmentally and securing the required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible.
3. All the courses are of two years duration, except M.Li.I.Sc (1 year) and B.Lib.I.Sc (1 year).
4. For language courses, Graduates of B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharm. etc are not eligible.
5. Must be an Indian Citizen. NRIs are also eligible
6. There is no prescribed upper age limit.

The registration fee can be paid at any Telangana or Andhra Pradesh Online Centres or through payment gateway Credit / Debit Cards / Net Banking.

How to apply for TG CPGET?

• Click on TG CPGET application Link
• Enter the Candidate's Primary information like name, qualifying hall ticket, DOB, Mobile no., Email, category etc.
• After entering Primary Information, click on "Initiate Payment", you will be redirected to the payment gateway.
• Use your Credit / Debit Cards / Net Banking for fee payment.
• Check your payment status using your qualifying hall ticket number and mobile number.
• After payment of Fee, the next step is to fill in the application form.
• Use your Payment Reference ID, qualifying hall ticket number, mobile number and DOB.
• Enter all the details in the required fields.
• Click on "Submit"
• After filling the complete application, take a printout of the application for future use.

TG CPGET 2025 Exam Pattern

1. The entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration. Except in M.P.Ed. The entrance test, the question paper consists of 100 objectives (multiple choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
2. For M.P.Ed., the entrance test will be of 75 multiple choice objective questions for 75 marks. The remaining 25 marks will be awarded by the Department of Physical Education, Osmania University for the Sports achievements of the candidates during the last three years. The decision of the Department of Physical Education, OU will be final and binding in awarding the incentive marks for sports achievements.
3. The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective-type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/experiment/ theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple-choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of the entrance test.
4. The pattern of Entrance Test for Admission into M.Sc. Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
5. The pattern of Entrance Test for Admissions into M.Sc.Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio-Technology for 60 Marks).
