What Follows the MICAT Result?

The declaration of the MICAT result kicks off the next crucial stages of the admission process:

  • Psychometric Validation: Section A acts as an absolute qualifier; only candidates who successfully clear the psychometric evaluation move forward in the shortlisting process.

  • Sectional Cut-Off Evaluation: MICA evaluates sectional performance in Aptitude Test sub-sections (Divergent-Convergent Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness) alongside a valid score from national exams like CAT, XAT, or GMAT.

  • Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interview (PI): Shortlisted candidates based on merit scores are invited to participate in the GE and PI rounds conducted across multiple major cities.

  • Final Merit List: The final composite score and admission offers are determined by combining performance across the entrance tests, psychometric evaluation, and the GE-PI rounds.
