MICAT 2027 Exam Pattern

The MICAT exam pattern is structured around a total duration of 135 minutes (2 hours and 15 minutes) delivered through a computer-based test format comprising three distinct sections.

• Section A is the Psychometric Test, which consists of 150 questions allotted 30 minutes; it serves as a mandatory qualifying section with no negative marking where candidates must attempt all questions.
• Section B is the Descriptive Test, featuring 4 writing prompts across 25 minutes designed to evaluate creative and analytical expression without negative marking.
• Finally, Section C is the Aptitude Test, which runs for 80 minutes and contains 70 objective questions covering Divergent-Convergent Reasoning, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Awareness.
