3 errors seen in Eamcet papers

HYDERABAD : Senior lecturers and students have pointed out to a total of three errors, two in the question paper for the medical stream and one in the engineering stream, in the Eamcet exam held on Sunday.

“In the engineering paper (code-D), in physics section, Question 89 was not clear,“ said Mr Raghunath, a senior lecturer. “The problem lies with the sentence `two boys climbing up the rope at the same time',“ he said and added that there was no correct answer provided under the options.

“The students had to waste precious time attempting the question. The officials should delete this question or award marks for the error,“ he said.

Some senior lecturers pointed out two errors in the medical stream paper. “In physics section (code-B), Question 91 pertaining to `transmission of heat' has no valid answer,“ said Mr Jagan Mohan Rao, who teaches Eamcet aspirants. “It has to be deleted.“

In the zoology section, Question 57 was faulty. The question relates to “mechanics of breathing in rabbit“ and has two correct options, 3 and 4, he said. Mistakes ENGINEERING: Physics, Code D Question No 89: Ambiguity in phrase “two boys climbing up the rope at the same time“.

MEDICAL: Physics, Code B Question No. 91 on “transmission of heat“ has no valid answer Zoology Code B “Mechanics of breathing in rabbit“ has two correct options.
