AP ECET 2017 – Counselling Dates, Procedure, Web Options

Counselling dates and procedure has been released for AP ECET 2017 entrance exam which was conducted on 3rd May 2017 for the lateral admissions to engineering or pharmacy under graduate courses. AP ECET 2017 entrance exam was conducted by JNTU, Ananthapur on behalf of APSCHSE. AP ECET 2017 Results are released. Students are eagerly waiting for AP ECET 2017 counselling dates as they can choose their colleges through counselling. The counselling is based on the ranks obtained by the candidates and are provided with web options containing list of colleges with their ECET Codes. The list of colleges will be based on the rank obtained by the candidate. Applicant can only select the colleges given in the list.

AP ECET 2017 entrance exam results have released. There are a many aspirants who have appeared for the entrance test. AP ECET 2017 Counselling Process

Candidates who intend to participate in the AP ECET 2017 Web Counselling should get a clear idea about the counselling procedure. AP ECET 2017 counselling process is given below:

1) Candidate has to confirm the counselling date and slot in which his/her rank is given.

2) Find the nearest helpline centre.

3) Participate in the AP ECET 2017 Web Counselling on given date & time.

4) Carry all the required and applicable certificates mentioned in notification.

5) All the document and certificates are verified by the officials.

6) Candidate must pay the Web Counselling Application fee and take the receipt.

7) The fee receipt is having the Registration number and password. By using these credentials, you have to enter into the AP ECET 2017 Web Counselling.

8) Check rank wise colleges list available in the web option list.

9) Select the colleges in priority wise from the given list and then click on ‘Submit’.

10) AP ECET 2017 fee receipt should be preserved for future use.

11) Candidate will receive college allotment order by SMS at your registered phone number.

Usually, the seat allotment will be based on the rank, reservation category, no. of vacancies in the college which have issued by JNTU Anantapur. So, candidates need to download their card and verify the reservation details before attending the Andhra Pradesh ECET Counselling.

Documents & Certificates required for AP ECET 2017 Certificate Verification

Candidates who intend to participate in the AP ECET 2017 Web Counselling need to carry the following mentioned document originals and two sets of Xerox copies at the time of certificate verification.

1) AP ECET-2017 Rank card.

2) AP ECET-2017 Hall Ticket.

3) Memorandum of Marks (Diploma/Degree).

4) Provisional Diploma Certificate/Degree Certificate.

5) Proof of Date of Birth (SSC or its Equivalent Memo).

6) Study Certificate from IV to Diploma/7

th to Degree to B. Sc. Maths candidates

7) Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the Qualifying examination i.e. Diploma/Degree.

8) Andhra Pradesh Residence Certificate of father/mother for a period of 10 years excluding the period of employment outside Andhra Pradesh from Tahsildar in respect of Non-Local Candidates.

9) Aadhar Card (will be returned after verification).

10) Integrated Community Certificate, in case of BC/ST/SC issued by the competent authority.

11) Income certificate of parents from all sources issued on or after 01.01.2014 or White Ration card (candidate name and either of the parents name have to be reflected in the ration card) those who claim tuition fee reimbursement)

12) Candidates claiming reservation under NCC/Sports/ PH/ CAP/Minority shall bring the original certificates.

a) PH - Candidates shall submit certificate issued by the District Medical Board.

b) CAP - Candidates shall submit Certificates from the Zilla Sainik Welfare Board (viz) Discharge book & Identity card etc for Verification. Children of Ex-Service and InService persons who are domicile of Andhra Pradesh will alone be considered for allotment of seats under CAP Category.

c) NCC & Sports – Produce original certificates issued by competent authorities. The candidate should have represented from the state of AP.

d) Minorities - The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should bring TC of the SSC containing the Religion (Muslim/Christian/Other linguistic) or in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent Examination.

AP ECET 2017 Web Options Entry Schedule

Diploma Holders of All Branches including Pharmacy and B.Sc Maths Candidates can exercise their options from any Internet café or Help Line Centre or from their Residence on any day between 22.06.2017 to 27.06.2017 immediately after Certificates Verification.

AP ECET 2017 Registration Fee

Candidates who intend to participate in AP ECET 2017 Web Counselling need to pay the AP ECET 2017 Registration Fee mandatorily. The Registration Fee is as given below:

General/ OBC Candidates: Rs. 1000/-.

ST/SC Candidates: Rs. 500/-.

Qualifying Marks/Percentage

OC/ OBC Candidates who have Secured 45% aggregate in Diploma or B.Sc Degree Examination.

SC/ST Category aspirants who have Secured 40% aggregate in Diploma or B.Sc Degree Examination.

AP ECET 2017 Final Phase

AP ECET 2017 qualified candidates including Diploma holders of all branches of engineering and Pharmacy & B.Sc. Maths from Rank 1 to Last who have attended certificate verification earlier are informed to exercise options on 07.07.2017 and 08.07.2017 till 06.00 PM using their old password and Login Id for the seats now available and consequential vacancies that may arise in the process of allotment from any Help Line Centre or Internet facility.

The candidates who have not attended certificate verification so far can get their certificates verified from any one of the Help Line Centres on 07.07.2017and 08.07.2017 and exercises options immediately after certificates verification till 06:00PM.

The candidates who can exercise the options are

1) Candidates who have secured seats but not interested to join/Not reported.

2) Candidates who have not secured seats so far but got their certificates verified.

3) Candidates who have not exercised the options so far but got their certificates verified.

4) Candidates who have secured seats, reported and aspiring for a better option.

5) Candidates who have reported but cancelled their 1st Phase allotment.

6) Candidates who have not attended certificates verification so far can get their certificates verified.

Note: Options given in the 1st Phase will not be considered for allotment and candidates have to exercise option afresh now.

Qualified candidates who had exercised their options in 1st phase of counselling and are satisfied with the allotment need not exercise options again. If they exercise options now and a seat is allocated as per the options, then the previous allotted seat will be given to next meritorious candidate and hence candidate will have no claim on previous allocated seat.

The Special reservation Category Candidates (Sports/NCC/CAP/PH) who did not get their Certificates verified earlier should get their certificates verified now at Govt. Polytechnic (Near Benz Circle) Vijayawada only.
