Mumbai — BITS Law School, operating under the aegis of BITS Pilani (an Institution of Eminence), has officially commenced the admission process for its five-year integrated, fully residential undergraduate law programmes for the 2027–28 academic session.
Prospective students aiming to join India’s new-age legal institution can now submit their applications online through the official website.
The institution is accepting applications for two flagship undergraduate degrees:
B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.)
These transdisciplinary programmes are structured to bridge traditional legal education with contemporary corporate, technological, and public policy demands. Students have access to specialised elective pathways, including:
Corporate and Financial Law
Technology and Media Law
Entertainment and Sports Law
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
To be eligible for admission into the 2027–28 batch, applicants must meet the following baseline requirements:
Academic Qualification: Candidates must have successfully completed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
Minimum Marks: General candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% in their Grade 12 examinations.
Appearing Candidates: Students currently awaiting their Class 12 or final entrance test results are also eligible to apply, subject to the subsequent submission of their passing scores.
The selection methodology at BITS Law School is designed to evaluate a candidate’s critical thinking, communication skills, and aptitude for legal studies.
Accepted Tests: Applicants can secure admission by appearing for the BITS Law Foundation Assessment (BLFA) or the BITS Law Entrance Test (BITS LAT). Alternatively, valid scores from other recognized national-level law entrance examinations are also factored into the evaluation.
Holistic Evaluation: The multi-stage review process typically looks beyond mere test scores, considering personal statements, micro-presentations, and personal interviews to handpick future legal leaders.
Aligning with BITS Pilani's commitment to accessible education, BITS Law School offers merit-cum-means scholarships and financial assistance to deserving candidates, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder meritorious students.
Interested applicants are encouraged to visit the official BITS Law School admissions portal to track important deadlines, download the information brochure, and register for the upcoming entrance windows.
