Candidates can follow these steps to download their hall ticket from the official site:
Visit the Official Site: Go to iimcat.ac.in.
Access Login: Click on the "Registered Candidate Login" tab.
Enter Credentials: Provide your User ID and Password created during registration.
View Admit Card: Navigate to the "Admit Card" tab on the candidate dashboard.
Download & Print: Click "Download Admit Card" and print multiple clear copies on A4-sized paper for future reference.
Important Note: In case of any discrepancies regarding your photo, signature, or name spelling on the admit card, contact the official CAT helpline helpdesk immediately for correction.
CAT 2026 Exam Pattern & Structure
The CAT 2026 examination will be conducted across three designated shifts (Morning, Afternoon, and Evening) in a 2-hour duration.
Total Duration: 120 minutes (40 minutes per section; section switching is strictly disabled).
Question Types: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and Non-MCQs / Type-In-The-Answer (TITA) questions.
Marking Scheme:
+3 marks awarded for every correct answer.
-1 mark deducted for every wrong MCQ answer.
No negative marking for non-MCQ / TITA questions or unattempted questions.

Candidates must carry the following mandatory documents to the assigned test center:
Printed physical copy of CAT 2026 Admit Card with a clear photograph.
Original, valid Government Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter ID, or E-Aadhaar).
Passport-sized photographs matching the photo uploaded during registration.
Relevant Category/Medical certificates (if applicable for PwD candidates).
