The decision was taken on the basis of feedback received from stakeholders. “It is informed that from Board Examination, 2024 CBSE based on feedback received from stakeholders has decided to do away with the Answer Books wherein tables were provided in the subject of Accountancy. From Examinations-2024, normal lines Answer Books as provided in other subjects in Class 12 will be provided in Accountancy subject also,” the official notification stated.CBSE has also decided to not award any overall division, distinction or aggregate to the students. The Board announced it after it received requests from multiple candidates to intimate the criteria for calculating the percentage of students. The board will neither calculate nor declare and inform the percentage of marks.
