The Union Minister for HRD Prakash Javadekar confirmed that NEET will be conducted in 23 more cities across India. Government has taken such a move considering all the fact and events such as Tamil Nadu rejecting NEET exam over the inaccessibility of exam centres for rural students. NEET is an entrance exam conducted for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in medical/dental colleges run with an approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Further, the minster has released a new list of cities where NEET would be held.
