CBSE announces Class 12th supplementary exam results, 29.78% students pass

CBSE Supplementary Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today, August 2 has announced the Class 12 supplementary exam results. The students who appeared for the CBSE board supplementary 2024 exam on July 15 can check and download the results from cbse.gov.in. The results are also available in the DigiLocker for the students.

As many as 1,31,396 students registered for this year's Class 12 CBSE supplementary exams. Of them, 1,27,473 students appeared and 37,957 (29.78 percent) students passed. A total of 15,397 schools participated and the exam was held in 917 centres.

According to data shared by the board, girls have done better than boys. While the pass percentage among the girl students is 33.47 percent, it is 27.90 among boys and 100 percent among the transgender students.

CBSE Supplementary Result 2024: How to download results

Step 1: Visit the official website – cbseresults.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage click on the class 10 result link.

Step 3: Log in using credentials such as registration number and date of birth

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download and save the CBSE Class 12 result for future use.

The CBSE Class 12 supplementary exam result verification process will begin on August 6.

The Class 12 supplementary exam was held on a single day – July 15 and the Class 10 CBSE supplementary exam 2024 was held from July 15 to 22. The CBSE supplementary exam was conducted based on the syllabus prescribed for the board examination for the session 2023-24.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 results 2024 were declared on May 13. The pass percentage in CBSE result 2024 has been recorded as 93.60 percent for CBSE Class 10 and 87.98 percent for Class 12. With the announcement of the supplementary exam results of CBSE, the pass percentage will increase.

The marksheet cum passing certificate to the regular students will be sent through their schools. The private candidates from Delhi can collect their marksheet cum passing certificate from the exam centres and for private candidates outside Delhi, the marksheet cum passing certificate will be sent to the address given by the candidates in the application form.
