DIET CET on June 15

The District Institutes for Education and Training (DIET) Common Entrance Test will be held on June 15, across the state, even though the state will be bifurcated after June 2. Notification was released on 12th May. The online application process would commence on May 16 and the last date to register for the exam will be May 18. The hall tickets can be downloaded from May 30.

The exam will be held in same mode of last year and the syllabus will also be the same, according to Surender Reddy, convener of DIET CET. Timing of the test will be 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on June 15. Results will be declared in July. DIET is a two-year diploma course in teacher training. The trained diploma holders can apply for the District Selection Committee (DSC) examinations, which will be held every year to fill up vacancies of thousands of teacher posts.
