Himachal Pradesh government to reward best performing teachers: The administration has begun 'Shikshak Samman Yojana' to reward educators giving great outcomes by augmenting their administration by a year, said Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh.

On the expanding number of schools in the state, Singh said that the administration has opened or overhauled 1,329 schools and opened 42 new government universities in remote regions.
"Beginning award of Rs. 5 crore has been given to each new school and the state has made 1,177 posts for educators and different classes in universities. Moreover, 5,608 posts were made for educators in government schools," he said. The administration has filled 9,538 posts of educators, regularized 6,937 instructors and named 3,226 instructors on contract premise, Singh said.
"Furthermore, 2,609 educators and non-showing workers were regularized in the advanced education division and 1,959 posts of prepared graduate instructors (TGT) were filled through direct arrangement and administrations of 2,647 contract instructors were regularized," he educated.
The main pastor said that the honorarium of TGT educators named by the parent instructor affiliation has been raised from Rs. 6,950 to Rs. 14,130 for established instructors; from Rs. 6,750 to Rs. 13,590 for vernacular instructors and Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 11,000 every month for essential instructors.
