JIPMER 2025 – Exam Pattern

The JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research) remains to be one of India’s most prestigious institutions for Medical and Allied Health Sciences. Each year, thousands of aspiring candidates aim to secure admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Admission to the MBBS program at JIPMER is now conducted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), aligning with national standards for medical education since 2020. For 2025, JIPMER continues to offer a diverse range of courses, including MBBS, B.Sc., M.Sc., MD/MS, and various paramedical programs, each with its own admission process and eligibility criteria.

JIPMER 2025 – Exam Pattern:

1. The JIPMER 2025 exam pattern for MBBS admissions is based on the NEET-UG structure.
2. The exam will be conducted in an offline mode based on pen and paper.
3. The exam will consist of 180 questions and will be MCQ (Multiple-Choice-Questions) based.
4. The exam will consist of 4 subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology.
5. The duration for the test will be of 3 hours (180 minutes).
6. There will be a negative marking for any incorrect answers (-1) and 4 marks will be given for each correct answer.
7. The medium of language will be in 13 languages – English, Hindi, and other regional languages.
