ICAI CPT Registration to start from April 4: Know how to apply

The registrations for the ICAI Common Proficiency Test (CPT) will begin from April 4. Interested candidates can apply latest by April 26.

HOW TO APPLY:

  • Go to the official website, icaiexam.icai.org
  • Click on the relevant link
  • Enter the necessary details
  • After submitting the same, the registration procedure will be completed.
  • Take a printout for future reference
  • The exam is scheduled to be held on June 17 in two sessions.

 

APPLICATION FEE:

India: Rs 1000

Centres in Kathmandu: Rs 1700

Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Muscat: Rs 300

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Last date to apply without late fee: April 26
  • Last date to apply with a late fee (Rs 600 for those whose centre is in India and Kathmandu): May 3
  • Last date to apply with a late fee (10 dollars for other overseas exam centres): May 3

ABOUT ICAI:

Established on July 1, 1949 as a body corporate under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 enacted by the Parliament (acting as the provisional Parliament of India) to regulate the profession of Chartered Accountancy in India, ICAI is the second largest professional accounting body in the world in terms of membership second only to American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
