The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has raised the fee of its flagship postgraduate programme in management by one lakh from the academic session 2018-2020.
IIM Ahmedabad raised the fee of its flagship post-graduate program (PGP) in management for 2018-20 to Rs 22 lakh from Rs 21 lakh.
"The diversity fairy has -- if I may say so -- begun to infect the campus. In terms of educational background, non-engineers were 32 per cent of the students in the PGP - the highest ever in more than 15 years," he said
"PGP- FABM non-engineers were 45 per cent of the students," he added
He further added, "In terms of gender diversity the PGP saw 28 per cent women joining the program in 2017 - an increase from the 14 per cent figure of 2015. Similarly the PGP-FABM saw 50 per cent women joining the program in 2017. This year 50 per cent of the graduating students from the FPM are male."
