The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has extended the last date for the submission of online application form for admissions in undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes. As per the revised schedule, the last date to submit the form is August 14 till 11:50 pm.
As per the schedule, the correction window for the candidates who have made mistakes in the registration forms is also open from today, August 13 to August 14. The candidates will be able to make corrections in their form only till the given time.
Aspirants who are still left to fill the form and are willing to do so can fill the online application from the official website – jnuee.jnu.ac.in. Candidates will require their NTA application number and date of birth to get themselves registered. The candidates will be allotted the seats based on their CUET scores
– BA and BSc Programmes: Candidates must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 45 per cent marks. The admissions will be based on scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
– For Certificate of Proficiency (COP) Programmes: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45 per cent marks in Class 12. There will be no viva voce examination for admission to BA, BSc, or COP programmes.
The application fee for UG programmes is Rs 268 and for COP programmes, the fee is Rs 219. Candidates must pay the registration fee before submitting the application form.
The first allotment list is expected to be out till August 21. Applicants are also advised to keep visiting the official JNU website for any further information.
