Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the OMR Response Sheet of the candidates who attempted the NEET 2017 entrance examination on 13th June 2017 at the official website http://cbseneet.nic.in/. The OMR Sheet is going to be available for only two days. The candidates who are unsatisfied with the responses of the OMR sheet can challenge the same.
The Hon. Supreme Court yesterday directed the CBSE to declare the NEET 2017 Results putting a stay on the Madras High Court's order restraining publication of results. The board has been asked to declare NEET 2017 Results before 26th June 2017.
Availability of OMR sheets – 13th June 2017 (Tuesday) to 14th June 2017 (Wednesday), till 5 PM. The candidates who are unsatisfied with the responses of the OMR sheet can challenge the same.
How to Challenge
1) The candidates can check the scanned images of their OMR sheet and answer keys by logging into their account using their user ID (registration number) and password on the website.
2) Those willing to challenge the same may do so by paying a fee of Rs 1000/- per response/per question challenged.
3) Only online challenges within the stipulated period and with applicable fee will be considered.
4) Fee paid will be refunded to the candidate if his/her challenge is accepted by the CBSE.
Warning issued by CBSE:
It has been observed by CBSE that candidates make changes/alterations in the downloaded copies of the OMR Sheets and claim that their OMR Sheets have been tampered with by CBSE.
This act of false claim by candidates is covered under unfair practices in Rule 9.1(k) and (l) of Chapter 9 of information bulletin. If it is found that any candidate is making such false claims, he/she will be debarred from appearing in future NEET-UG examinations as per rules.
