SET examination is likely to be on Feb 15

Hyderabad: State Eligibility Test (SET), scheduled on February 1 in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, is likely to be postponed again.

Sources in the Osmania University, which conducts the test, informed that the examination is likely to be held on February 15 instead of February 1 as announced by the varsity.

An official has informed that the varsity received several representations to defer the test as GATE and DRDO examinations are scheduled on February 1. “The University Grants Commission has given permission to conduct the test in the last week of February. Keeping in the larger interest of the students, we are contemplating to postpone the test,” an official said. Earlier the examination was postponed from January 4 to February 1 in view of Milad-un-Nabi Eid.
