LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has officially commenced the online correction window for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) certificates. Qualified candidates who find discrepancies in their personal details—such as names, dates of birth, or category specifications—can now apply for revisions through the dedicated online portal.
Following the release of UPTET 2026 completion certificates starting September 7, 2026, the commission noted that several candidates reported minor typographical errors. To resolve these issues smoothly, the official correction portal became operational on September 25, 2026.
Strict Guidelines and Important Directives
According to statements released by UPESSC Deputy Secretary Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, candidates must adhere to a strict set of protocols while submitting their correction requests:
Online Mode Only: The commission has explicitly clarified that requests sent via postal mail, written representations (pratyavedan), or physical office visits will not be entertained under any circumstances. All modifications must be processed digitally through the authorized website.
One-Time Opportunity: Candidates will only get a single opportunity to make corrections to their certificates. Once submitted and processed, no further requests for modification will be entertained. Therefore, applicants are strongly advised to cross-verify all entries against their original high school marksheets and valid identity proofs before final submission.
Prescribed Correction Fee: To process the revised document issuance, applicants must pay a non-refundable correction fee of INR 200 via online payment gateways (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI) integrated into the portal.

Select Fields and Upload Proofs: Navigate to the correction tab, identify the fields requiring modification (Name, DOB, or Category), and upload scanned copies of legitimate supporting legal/educational documents.
