UPTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

UPTET is administered at two levels:

Classes from 1 to 5 in Paper 1 (Primary Level)

 Eligibility:

  • Candidates must hold a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. (BTC) degree.
  • Candidates in their final year of these classes are also qualified.

Classes 6–8 are eligible for Paper 2 (Upper Primary Level).
