The standout for me is the Industry-Led Curriculum it’s not just theory; you’re actually diving into modules co-designed by tech giants, which gives you a genuine head start before you even hit the job market. Being a day scholar, I’ve found the campus vibe to be electric, and hanging out at spots like Square One makes the long days feel worth it. The infrastructure is solid and functional, providing exactly what you need to grind on projects. ?However, it’s not without its stresses. The administrative discipline and rigid attendance policies can feel incredibly stifling, especially when you’re trying to balance academic research, like my work on digital transformation, with personal coding side-projects. The placement cell is proactive and takes a lot of the anxiety off your final year, but as someone commuting, you’re always racing against those strict bus timings. Ultimately, it’s a place that pushes you hard; it doesn't just hand you a degree, it builds the grit and confidence you actually need for the real world.

Campus Facilities: The campus at Chitkara honestly feels more like a modern corporate office than a traditional college. Everything is super clean and well-maintained, which actually makes you want to show up in the morning. The labs are the real highlight for me; they aren't just rows of old dusty PCs. They actually have high-end machines that can handle heavy coding and the software we need for our industry modules without crashing every five minutes.
Campus Life: The lecture halls are comfortable enough for those long stretches, and the library is a lifesaver when you need to get away from the noise to actually focus. Since I'm a day scholar, the cafeteria at Square One is basically my home base. It’s where everyone hangs out, and the vibe there is always high energy. The whole place is built to keep you moving—the Wi-Fi is reliable, the sports facilities are top-tier if you need to blow off steam, and there’s a general sense that the university puts a lot of effort into making the environment feel professional. It’s a solid, functional setup that definitely helps when the academic workload starts getting intense.
Faculty: The faculty at Chitkara are a far cry from the typical professors who just read off old slides. They feel more like mentors who actually understand what’s happening in the real world. Many of them come from industry backgrounds, so when they teach, it’s less about memorizing definitions and more about how things actually work in a professional setting. They're usually pretty approachable and willing to help you out if you show genuine interest in the subject. ?That said, they don't go easy on you. They can be really firm about deadlines and those strict attendance rules, which can be frustrating when you’re swamped. But you can tell they’re pushing you because they want you to be ready for placements. It’s a bit of a tough-love situation, but having teachers who are actually invested in your career rather than just your grades makes a huge difference in the long run.
Placements: Well some internship's are provided under an MOU but it totally depends on the department the type of exposure u get they can give u skills and placement but internship is something my department lacks .
Salary Package: 14 - 16 Lakhs
Start Up Incubator: The CEED and Explore Hub are easily the most exciting spots on campus if you have even a tiny bit of an entrepreneurial itch. It is not just some empty room with desks but a full incubator where ideas actually get some legs. What is really cool is that they do not make you wait until graduation to take you seriously. You can walk in with a rough sketch of a business plan and the mentors there, who are often successful founders themselves, will help you tear it apart and rebuild it the right way. They provide the space, the fast internet, and the networking opportunities with investors that you would never be able to find on your own. The vibe there is totally different from the rest of the university since it is much more relaxed but feels high stakes at the same time. Seeing other students running actual startups while still attending lectures is massive motivation. They also host a ton of hackathons and pitching sessions that give you a real taste of the startup world. If you are someone who wants to build something of your own instead of just sitting for placements, this hub is easily the best resource on campus.
