I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering as a student from the 2023 batch. In my opinion, this is a below-average Tier-3 private college with a weak academic environment and limited opportunities for skill development. Students often have to depend on YouTube and other online platforms for their personal and professional growth. The overall atmosphere feels more like a school than a college, and although seniors occasionally organize seminars, their usefulness can vary. Another drawback is the location, as the college is situated on the outskirts of Adisaptagram, where the social environment is not particularly engaging. Therefore, students should not expect much exposure or a vibrant campus life here. Overall, I believe many students may feel disappointed after joining, and it would be better to focus on academics early on and aim for admission to a more reputed institution that offers a stronger academic culture and better opportunities.

Campus Facilities: The campus is quite beautiful, and one of its most attractive features is the large pond located at the center of the college premises, which adds to its scenic appeal. The college consists of four academic blocks—A, B, C, and D—and provides basic facilities such as a canteen, a library, two auditoriums, a gym, and two ATM facilities on campus. Classrooms are adequately maintained for regular academic activities, and the laboratories cater to the practical requirements of different departments. The library contains a reasonable collection of academic books and study materials. For accommodation, students can opt for nearby hostels or private paying guest (PG) facilities available around the campus. The canteen offers basic food options with average quality and affordability. Overall, the college provides the essential on-campus amenities required for students, although the availability and quality of certain facilities may vary.
Campus Life: Campus life is fairly enjoyable, especially during the annual college fest, **Arcadia**, which is one of the most anticipated events of the year. The best part of Arcadia is the cultural night, featuring live music performances, dance competitions, and various entertainment programs that bring together students from different departments and even other colleges. The event creates a lively atmosphere on campus and provides students with a break from their academic routine. Apart from the fun and excitement, Arcadia also offers opportunities to participate in organizing events, managing teams, and interacting with students from diverse backgrounds, which helps in developing communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Overall, it is a memorable experience that combines entertainment, exposure, and personal growth, making it the highlight of campus life.
Faculty: The faculty quality is generally below average despite many professors being academically qualified. A major issue is the lack of effective teaching methods and student engagement. While a few faculty members are dedicated and make sincere efforts to explain concepts clearly, most focus primarily on completing the syllabus rather than ensuring that students understand the subjects thoroughly. Interactive learning, practical exposure, and mentorship are often lacking, which negatively affects the overall academic experience. As a result, many students rely on online resources and self-study to grasp important concepts and develop the skills required for their future careers.
Placements: The placement scenario at the college is below average, with an estimated placement rate of around **40–60%**, depending on the branch and graduating batch. Although the college showcases a long list of recruiters, including Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, Cognizant, HCL Technologies, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Deloitte, Amazon, Reliance, Virtusa, Persistent, Mindtree, ITC Infotech, GlobalLogic, Qualcomm, Larsen & Toubro, and others, only a limited number of students receive offers from these companies. Most placements are concentrated among mass recruiters, which generally offer packages in the range of **?3–5 LPA**, while higher packages are secured by only a handful of students. Core opportunities for Electronics and Communication Engineering students are relatively limited, forcing many students to compete for IT-related roles. Internship opportunities through the college are also not very strong, and students often need to find internships on their own through online platforms. Therefore, students should not depend entirely on campus placements and must focus on skill development, projects, internships, and off-campus opportunities to improve their chances of securing a good job.
