I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering as a student from the 2023 batch. In my opinion, this is a below-average Tier-3 private college with a weak academic environment and limited opportunities for skill development. Students often have to depend on YouTube and other online platforms for their personal and professional growth. The overall atmosphere feels more like a school than a college, and although seniors occasionally organize seminars, their usefulness can vary. Another drawback is the location, as the college is situated on the outskirts of Adisaptagram, where the social environment is not particularly engaging. Therefore, students should not expect much exposure or a vibrant campus life here. Overall, I believe many students may feel disappointed after joining, and it would be better to focus on academics early on and aim for admission to a more reputed institution that offers a stronger academic culture and better opportunities. Hello readers,I am Shourjya, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering as a student of the 2023 batch. Based on my experience so far, I would describe this college as below average overall.First of all, it is a Tier-3 private institution, and the academic environment is not very inspiring. After taking admission, students may find that there are limited opportunities to develop technical and professional skills through the college itself. As a result, much of your personal and career growth depends on self-learning through platforms such as YouTube, online courses, and other external resources.The campus atmosphere feels more like that of a school than a college, which can be disappointing for students expecting a vibrant and intellectually stimulating environment. Occasionally, senior students organize seminars and workshops, but their usefulness varies and may not always provide significant value.Another drawback is the location of the college. It is situated in Adisaptagram, on the outskirts of the town, where the overall social atmosphere is not particularly engaging. Students looking for an active college life, diverse extracurricular opportunities, or a dynamic social environment may find their expectations unmet. Therefore, I would advise students not to expect too much from this institution. In my opinion, it is better to focus on academics from the beginning and work hard to secure admission to a better college if possible. AOT is one of the best colleges in West Bengal not only for its academics but also for the low cost it requires. This college provides ~98% of placements in only 4 lakhs as their total fees. Placements: Almost 90% of the understudies students get place every year. 6.5 CGPA is enough to get the degree. The most significant compensation bundle offered is 12LPA. Least compensation bundle offered is 2.8LPA and the normal compensation bundle offered is 3.8LPA. Top selecting organizations are TCS, Wipro and Cognizant. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very acceptable. Labs are quite good and the library is better than the expectation including classrooms. The hostel is separate for boys and girls. the hostel cost is very less so that the needy student can efforts that. Food is additionally very reasonable.
