IIEST Shibpur is always known for its rich heritage and culture. It is an institute of national importance. The green campus of this college is the main attraction for students. Most of the professors are highly qualified. The college is located very near to railway station which increases transportation facility.

Campus Facilities: The college has a beautiful green campus. Most of the basic needs can be fulfilled within the campus only. Since, college is not far away from the city, a lot of malls and other good spots to visit.

Campus Life: Although due to COVID, the actual campus life is still left to enjoy. But, the exposure to different clubs and social interactions will make the four years of your life the most memorable part of your life.

Faculty: Faculty members are really interactive and very highly qualified. College also encourages internship programs in the 3rd year as a compulsory task. Industry exposure is good but a student must need to put efforts from his/her own side in order to grab bigger opportunities.

Placements: Big tech giants like Microsoft Amazon Flipkart and Mercedes-Benz come to give offers to students for various roles in different sectors. Most of the students in the third year are doing internships at Google, Amazon, and many others.

Start Up Incubator: There is an EDC club that organizes different boot camps in order to encourage young entrepreneurs. The club is very active and students with successful plans are also given the opportunity to pitch investors.
